On the afternoon of June 10th, Geng Xin, Executive Vice President of Graduate School of Southeast University and Director of Graduate Work Department of the Party Committee, Yuan Liu Di, Vice President of Graduate School of Southeast University, Kuang Ying Hui, Director of Admissions Office, Lu Jian, Director of Cultivation Office, Zhang Xiao Jian, Deputy Director of Research Department of the Party Committee and Director of Management Office, Huang Yaji, Director of Degree and Graduate Education Office, and Zhu Dan, Director of Administrative Office, visited School of Economics and Management for research and guidance. The seminar was hosted by Yuan Jianhong, Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, with the participation of the leading team members, heads of various disciplines, and representatives of teachers and students.
At the meeting, Secretary Yuan Jianhong welcomed the delegation of the Graduate School to guide the school and expressed the hope that the seminar could further strengthen communication and contact. Vice President Xue Weili made a detailed report on the postgraduate training, discipline construction, training measures, and training achievements of the School of Economics and Management. After that, the teachers and students had an in-depth exchange on how to establish a harmonious relationship between supervisors and students, the allocation of master's and doctoral enrollment targets and special support, the working mode of doctoral assessment and admission of the school, the quality management and supervision mechanism of the postgraduate training process, the quality control of dissertation, how to give full play to the function of degree sub-committee and supervisor training.
The research symposium made a full discussion around the work related to postgraduate training, which further strengthened the communication between the Graduate School and our school and clarified the focus of our postgraduate training and education work. The school will continue to do a good job in the cultivation and education of postgraduates in the future, and promote the high-quality and connotative development of postgraduate education.
